This policy applies to everyone who uses Subtitle Remover and AI Video Enhancer (the "Service"), operated by Horan. It sits alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you agree to follow it.

What the Service does

The Service edits videos you upload. It removes subtitles, captions, watermarks, logos and other on-screen text by reconstructing the pixels behind them, and it enhances or upscales video quality. It does not create new videos or images from text prompts.

Processing is powered by third-party AI video models, including Volcengine. Subtitle Remover is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those providers. The reconstructed areas of every output are produced by AI.

Your rights to the content

Only upload videos you own, or that the rights holder has allowed you to modify. Removing a watermark, logo or caption does not give you any right to use the footage. A watermark often identifies the copyright holder.

Prohibited content

You may not upload, process or distribute through the Service any content that:

• Is sexual or pornographic, including nudity, sexually explicit or sexually suggestive material (NSFW);
• Involves minors in any sexual or exploitative way. We report child sexual abuse material (CSAM) to the relevant authorities;
• Depicts graphic violence or gore, or promotes terrorism, self-harm or violent extremism;
• Promotes hate or harassment against people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar characteristics;
• Impersonates or deceives: deepfakes, face manipulation, or edits that make a real person appear to say or do something they did not, without their consent;
• Infringes copyright or trademarks, including removing watermarks, logos or credits from videos you don't own in order to repost, sell or claim them;
• Is otherwise illegal, or violates the privacy of others.

Prohibited uses

You may not:

• Use the Service to strip attribution from other people's work, or to redistribute pirated films, series or broadcasts;
• Resell, sublicense or provide the Service to others as your own product without our written permission;
• Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or bypass the limits and security of the Service;
• Create accounts to abuse free credits, or use stolen payment methods.

How we enforce this policy

We may review uploads and outputs when we receive a report or detect a likely violation. If we find a violation, we may delete the content, limit features, suspend or close the account without refund, and report illegal content to the authorities. Repeat copyright infringers will have their accounts terminated.

Reporting misuse

To report content that breaks this policy, email support@subtitleremover.com with the subject "Content Report". Include a link or screenshot, the account email or order number if you know it, and a short description. We review every report and respond within 3 business days.

Copyright holders can also send DMCA notices to dmca@subtitleremover.com.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be flagged on the site, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
